About Timsel – Brass House & Acid Jazz Band from Budapest
We are Timsel, a Hungarian band bringing the energy of live brass house and acid jazz to every stage. Our music combines powerful saxophones and bass with influences from jazz, funk, and experimental grooves, creating a sound that’s uniquely ours—100% live, no machines involved.
Formed in 2024 in Budapest, Timsel’s mission is simple: spread passion and energy through music. Every performance is an immersive experience, full of improvisation, rhythm, and melody that connects with audiences on a deep level.
The Band
Timsel is made up of four musicians, each bringing their own musical background and personality to the band’s distinctive sound.
Hunor Tácsik – Saxophone (tenor/baritone)
Máté Pusztai – Saxophone (alt/baritone)
Mátyás Vida – Tuba
Bence Dros – Drums
Together, the four members combine jazz improvisation, powerful grooves, and the raw energy of acoustic instruments to create Timsel’s signature live sound—without backing tracks or electronic production.
